Using Nalvin with Jira

Overview

Nalvin integrates directly with Jira so product and engineering teams stay aligned without extra reporting work. It turns tickets, projects, and sprints into clear insights you can use for updates, reviews, and retros. From drafting release notes and product updates to generating sprint summaries, project reports, and identifying blockers, Nalvin helps you keep the backlog moving and the team focused.

How It Works

The Jira integration gives Nalvin access to your workspace data so it can read tickets, projects, and sprints. By combining this with customer feedback or GitHub activity, Nalvin creates summaries, reports, and updates that are ready to share with your team or customers.

With this integration you can:

  • See which tickets tie back to customer requests

  • Understand what work is blocked or delayed

  • Get sprint reviews and retros generated instantly

  • Draft release notes and product updates without manual effort

  • Keep the team aligned with stand-up reports and project summaries in Slack or Teams

Configuration

Notes

  • You need to have permissions to add new apps to your Jira workspace (by default most users can add new apps)
