GDPR Compliance and Data Transfers

Version Lens Sweden AB is established in Sweden and therefore subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for all processing activities, regardless of where data is stored or processed.

  • EU/EES Processing
    Where possible, all sub-processors are selected and configured to use EU/EES data centers to minimize cross-border data transfers.

  • Transfers Outside the EU/EES
    Certain sub-processors (such as OpenAI) may process personal data on global infrastructure, which can involve transfers outside the EU/EES.

  • Safeguards
    Where data transfers outside the EU/EES are necessary, Version Lens implements the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and performs Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs) to ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data.
